- Graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Agricultural Business Management in 1980.
- Involved with agriculture production and sales since graduation on the local, regional, and global level.
- Employment background in agricultural and commercial lending and finance, self employed agribusiness owner, and sales and marketing management.
- Currently Sales Manager of the United States and Canada for Roberts Irrigation Products, Inc. in San Marcos, California; a manufacturer of globally distributed micro and drip irrigation products for agriculture and horticulture.
- President and Board of Directors member of the California Agricultural Irrigation Association, Past Chairman of the International Irrigation Association’s Drip and Micro Irrigation Common Interest Group and Membership committee, and member of the Cal Poly Agricultural Business Department’s Industry Advisory Council.
- Member of Emmanuel Faith Community Church in Escondido, California.
- Married to Barbara. Three children Michael, Megan, and Heather. Residing in Escondido, California.
- Hobbies include running, hiking, kayaking and gardening.
